The 25-year-old midfielder heads to Portugal after two seasons with Atlanta
ATLUTD2 transfers Moisés Tablante to Lusitânia FC
Atlanta United 2 midfielder Moisés Tablante is heading to Portugal after the club transferred him to Lusitânia de Lourosa FC on Thursday. The 25-year-old joins a club competing in Liga Portugal 2, Portugal’s second division. Atlanta will not receive a transfer fee, but the club will get a percentage of any future sale.
Tablante signed with the Portuguese club through June 2028.
Tablante joined ATLUTD2 in January 2025 and quickly became a regular. He made 27 appearances, started 20 and finished the season with five goals and two assists in 1,928 minutes. Atlanta re-signed him after the season on a new MLS NEXT Pro contract for 2026, with a club option for 2027.
This year, Moisés Tablante appeared 15 times and made six starts without recording a goal or assist. He leaves Atlanta United 2 with 42 appearances, 26 starts, five goals and two assists.

Tablante came through Orlando City’s academy and began his professional career with Orlando City B in 2019. He stayed with the organization through 2023, including a 2022 season in which he recorded six goals and six assists.
He joined FC Cincinnati 2 in 2024, making 20 appearances with three goals and four assists, before signing with Atlanta the following January.
Tablante has made 134 professional appearances and scored 20 goals during his career.
